Privacy Policy
Last updated October 3, 2026
Out of Sorts is made by NoctisPeak. It doesn't collect any data. There's no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking across apps or websites, and the app doesn't connect to the internet.
What stays on your phone
These are stored only in the app on your device and are never sent to us or anyone else:
- Your current runs and your Daily Edition results
- Your records, milestones and the words in your Specimen Book
- Your settings
You can erase all of it with Erase all progress in Settings, or by deleting the app.
Sharing
When you share a result, the app hands the text to your phone's share sheet. It goes only where you choose to send it.
Looking up a word
On a word's definition, More at Merriam-Webster opens that word on merriam-webster.com in your browser. Nothing is sent unless you tap it, and Merriam-Webster's own privacy policy applies to that page.
Children
Out of Sorts doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
