Common questions

How do I set up the table?

Add everyone on the setup screen in seating order, starting with whoever sits at the bottom edge of the phone and going clockwise. Tap two chips to swap seats. Then lay the phone flat in the middle and tap Take your seats.

How do I pass the turn?

Tap anywhere on the table. Tapped by mistake? Use the undo button in the bottom-left corner, and the time goes back to the player who really had the turn. Long-press a seat to hand that player the turn out of order, or to sit them out.

Why did the game pause?

If Longthink leaves the screen (a call, checking the rules, the phone locking), the clock pauses so nobody is charged for time nobody saw. Tap anywhere to carry on.

The bell rang with my phone on silent. Why?

In the turn timer and chess clock, the bell is the one sound you can't miss when the phone is lying flat, so it rings through silent mode. The chip clicks and ticks stay quiet. Use the speaker button on the setup screen to turn all sounds off.

How do the regulars work?

Everyone you've named is tallied across every game in the ledger, matched by name. Seats you leave unnamed aren't counted. The regulars come with Longthink Plus.

How do I restore Longthink Plus?

Open the unlock sheet (tap a locked clock on the setup screen) and tap Restore purchase while signed in to the same Apple ID (or Google account) you bought with.

How do I delete my data?

Everything is stored only on your phone. Clear the ledger inside the app, or delete the app. See the privacy policy for details.
